Short Shifters...

    My short shifter hits my muffler in 5th and reverse. why is this and can i fix this problem or do i need a different short shifter ??? Also, my muffler has a huge aftermarket resonator, but my exhaust is bone stock from honda, why do i have a huge aftermarket resonator ?

    stock exhausts had resonators , as for the size :unsure:

    Yeah, but its a huge aftermarket one, its not factory ? what the heck ? and do you have any info regarding my short shifter problem ? anybody ?

    I believe it's very common for the stock exhaust to rub the short shifter.
    not much you can do about it. It's possible an aftermarket exhaust might cure the problem.
    but I'm not 100% sure about that

    hey man my buddies short shifter inhis 89 crx has exactly the same problem with tapping the exhaust. he just drives it and hes had it for over a year and so far no complaints. Gotta do what ya gotta do to drop the 1/4 time!
