Short throw shifter?

I have been looking around for a short throw shifter. I have seen two kinds. One kind just has one bend and the other kind has one bend than 2in other bend on the opposite side. I was wondering which one is better and if there was a difference in the two?

Thanks

I believe the single bend are for civic's and the dual bend are for acura's
and then again it can be just personal prefference as to what suits you best.
IMHO Skunk2 is the only shifter worth looking at

single bend points the shifter backwards at an angle, where the dual bend puts it in the stock position. I have a dual bend Skunk2 in my 4th gen hatch back, and I love it. Highly recommend the skunk2. Also yeah as previously stated, the bend thing is a personal preference.

skunk2 is the best ss i have seen,i put one im my bros 92 civic hb si and it works good, you can feel a big difference

So you think skunk2 shifters are the BEST brand for the Civic?

Skunk2

Honda Civic, CRX, Del Sol 1990-2000 628-05-0100 628-05-0090 $126.44

 That's cheap as fuck.

I'm gonna get a skunk2 shifter for my Si.

Thanks guys.

Granted it was for the Escort, and products for the Escort aren't cheap, but I've seen a shifter being sold for about $315 or so dollars. So yeah, the skunk2 shifter is very cheap compared to that.

To just let you get the idea of the difference buy the skunk2 and a cheap knockoff ebay one, skunk2 is defenitly imo the best, but go ahead spend 20 dollars and feel the difference.

And with my old saturn short shifters were like 200-250, so i guess we think it's cheap. At least we got off the domestic junk. just my .02

I don't know about that, my stock shifter only had a single bend in it , so I bought the single bend skunk2 and it's in the stock location, doesn't seem to have any type of backward angle to it.

for civics single bend is the way they are stock

pull your center console apart and check it out

I bought a Solo short throw and love it
I got it for $100 shipped with ES poly shifter bushings
makes a huge difference and solo is a great company

whatever you get though deffinately get shifter stabalizer bushings from ES or somewhere they make almost as much a difference as the shifter

ya listen to seanjaun..i put the es bushings too on my bros car along with the ss..the whole system feels real nice now..its worth it..try to get all the bushings if you can

i would get a skunk2 ss for my crx/b16 but i cant use a ss with my place shift linkage..i tried..f^ck
