A girl at my work has an early 90's Prelude, I think its a 2.0 Si. its 5 spd, decent condition, all stock. She said she doesn't want it any more, so she would sell it to me. she only paid a hundred bucks for it from her x-boyfriend and she said she would give it to me for that, since she has no use for it. I saw someone here on HondaSwap a few days ago say that those B20 are not compatible at all with the newer ones, But what do you guys think, should i get the car????? what kind of stuff do they make for those motors???

if its your daily driver, why do you want a loud car? I you won't get harrassed by cops as much, your ride on the highway and such will be more enjoyable, and all that... and afterall, is dumpking 1000 bucks on parts on a 400 car really worth it to you?

No loud exhaust , just something that flows a little better. and meybe not even that. like you say , i prob wouldn't want to put money into a cheap car.

BTW, how are those cars, are they decent? do they drive well?

ive driven a few with i/h/e, they have torque but NO balls up top. sorta like driving a bigger more sluggish integra. i say dont buy them, cause if u ever wanna swap or hardcore do it up, u cant cause the motor just cant take it. save and buy a cheap civic, theres enough of them out there and ull be alot happier.

Anything that runs decent for a hundred bucks I say buy. If it runs decent and you don't want it I DO! Where's it at and I'll go get it!

Yeah , if i don't like it i could sell it. almost any car that runs is worth stleast 500 bucks, probably more.

What about the mounts, does it mount like other B series , as in, could i swap another one in?

Forget about swaps in this car. If you buy it, just drive it until it falls apart and leave it alone!

yeah i hope to get another crx soon, but I'm fuckin paranoid of it gettin stolen. This time around, if i get one, I'm goin with stock honda rims, black tinted windows, bad ass alarm, Club, keyless entry, and takin off the locks so they cant break em. Then once thats done, GSR motor. I figure i want all my money put into the motor and security, i dont even give a fuck about rims, jsut gimme Si ones and ill be fine. I actually saw a clean ass CRX for 1400 bucks a few weeks ago but didn't have the money.

I'll get the prelude and sell it for $$ to get a REx

Good idea! I would buy any car especially a honda at that price. You score $600 for it and you would have made $500 off of a car and hook up with another rex.

    Peace*
