should i buy this motor......

for $1.4k...just motor and tranny

i know this motor has been beat on for at least 3yrs.....i need to replace the valve stem seals....it smokes a little.......then i plan on replacing the piston rings water/oil pump.....i dont know if its worth it........
any opinions are welcome



i plan on switching motors if i buy it.....the lsv with gsr tranny on the cx....and b16 with b16 tranny on the rex........

b16a2 tranny = hydro.
crx = cable

they wont' be a direct swap.

the price is good for 1400 bucks... if you plan to build up anyway, go for it.
if you plan to just do a swap and kinda leave it at that, i'd pass on it- or buy it for the sake of parting it out and making a profit on it

gsr tranny - 600
b16 head - 450
b16 block - 200
all the misc shit - will put you over your purchase price
