should i change my charcoal canister

ok incase no one knows my story, somoene put antifreeze in my gas tank so i was having some idle problems and i when to to check my vacuum hoses and i removed the hose from canister and the idle went to normal i plugged it back in and the idle started to die down again like it wanted to turn off i pulled the hose off and plugged it and it was running fine what should i do?
 
Sounds like you have a vacuum hose in teh wrong place. Before I got mine right it did the same thing, not there at the MAP, but still similar. Go over all you connections again and check em out. If you want to you can change it out, should be able to score one cheap from a junkyard.
 
the only thing i think is funny just when i put the hose back in the canister is when the idle acts up that is all i find to be funny if i plug up the line it runs just fine i guess i am going to take them all off tomorrow and re do them see what happens
