well right now i have my D16a6 block, z6 head, n no vtec yet in my HF, i have rims and i had a 200lbs guy in the car with me. I raced my buddys stock SI with exhaust and he pulled about a car. He ran a 15.7 (i dont know how?) just advanced timing, and exhaust. So my question is, what the hell is wrong with my car? i mean it should have been more even , but i dont understand? Is the stock si motor better then the z6 with no vtec, i think i have timing problems but im not really sure? im just kinda bummed, i mean when i get vtec hooked up i know i wil lbeat him but we should be runnin the same hp right now
 
yo dont need a vtec controller to hook up vtec
 
Well for one, you had an extra 200 lb guy in your car, did he?

two, you had no vtec

three, he only ran a 15.7 with just exhaust and advanced timing?? He should have pulled on you even harder.
