Is this the exact motor that is in the 99-00 si's. I am confused. Or is it something else? If it is something else, what is the other code for it. I know that it is a b16a2.

dude, check the reference section- the Sir-II is NOT the same motor found in the 1999-2000 civic si-

    http://www.hondaswap.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=29825

the Sir II came in the JDM 92-95 Civic Sir II and had 170 hp while the B16a2 is the motor found in the 99-00 civic si and it made 160 hp

Si's 99-00, SiR/SiRII's everywhere except for Canada have B16A's or a variant of B16A, such as the B16A2, B16A4, and on, in them.

You should have lost the bet because they are all B16As. Just in Japan after 92 they ran a different piston.

they are rated at 10more hp to the flywheel, the SiR2 motor

can't confirm, but I believe they also run a little more agressive cam profile on the SiR2 - like I said you might want to check that out

but yes they run 10.4:1 CR
