Bought a 1991 crx si last week. Guy said the cluch was out of it. After driving it I thought maybe the trans was bad also. Think it has a bad bearing but my hayes manule don't get into spliting trans cases. Anyone got a printout for takeing trans apart? I have another trans in a dx crx whats the difference?? Also this trans in the dx could be a si trans because the motor is a d16 16valve out of a 91 si (don't know if they swapped the trans also). Does anyone have a # that will tell. All I have found on the site is for b series stuff. Thanks

Difference is Si has a shorter final drive (4.25 vs. the DX's 3.88), and a larger differential bearing on the Si.
