yeah it was extremely violent. I didnt expect it to be that violent at all. a whole bunch of people were walking out of the theater when i saw it. I thought it was a little long though. I came out of the movie not really liking it. After thinking back on it, it was a good movie. very different.

I thought that the movie was great. The best story by far was Marv.

THe first half is true for me -> the movie didnt finish because the theater lost power and i didnt get to see the whole thing.

Pay for the movie, you rat bastard!

I wouldn't have known is was based on a comic book if it didn't say it at the beginning...Best comic book movie EVER. Spiderman ain't got shit on it.

Yeah, same here. It's based on the Sin City "graphics novels" by Frank Miller. Hence, "Frank Miller's Sin City". Never would have known, and yes it beats spiderman's ass.

i have more dvd copies than any one hear- ! all legit !~

I just saw this last night, pretty damn good I think. I bet people will be distracted by the gratuitous violence and not notice that the style in which the movie was filmed is pretty groundbreaking.

Saying "Spiderman ain't got shit on it" is kinda pointless. Spiderman was perhapse one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I think it would make my top 5 worst movies of ALL time. Sorry, just had to go on my "I hate Spidermand" rant :D

I didn't care for Spiderman much either, but America did. I'm simply stating that Sin City was far supeior to Spiderman. 1 was better than 2, but one still was decent at best.

The cool thing is the movie is almost frame for frame from the comic as opposed to translating the comic into a movie they took a comic and made it act like a movie. Even the color usage is right out of the comic. Quentin T only did one scene in the whole movie- the part where dwight is driving with benicio del toro's body in the passenger seat and the body starts talking to him. Robert Rodriguez actually directed the movie with Frank Miller as codirector. Check out robs other movies if u haven't seen em Desperado, El Mariachi, Once upon a time in mexico. Lots of cheesy violence!!! The parts I liked the best were frodo as serial killer cannibal and the fact that all boobies shown in the movie were NATURAL!!!! "sigh" three cheers for natural boobs as opposed to porno boobies:)
