um, that is what b (owner of this site) does for like 7 hours 50 minutes of his 8 hour shift of however long it is.

If you start putting porn stuff or crap like that, boss sees you looking at that, they will block hondaswap and no one wants that.
 
:werd: A lot of people that use hondaswap have desk jobs and search the web while not busy. But if they were caught looking at porn, then they wouldn't be able to use the web anymore and get them into trouble, so what the mod's do is make it so no one gets into trouble so no porn on the website.
 
guys i was on hondaswap for almost my entire 12 hour shift. a very angry customer who wanted to file a complaint could not get through bc i only have one line........he called zales, my store is right in front of there. it was pretty hilarious.

If people can't come here at work, our hits will go down two fold. If you don't beleive me, I'll show you a graph of weekdays vs weekend hits. We currently have more traffic than clubsi, and are just a little behind honda-tech. I'd have to say, we are the number 3 honda site right now on the net.

If you want porn, there's sublime directory and buldog.com for that shit. This is hondaswap. we talk cars, and some general BS'ing.... but there is no need for porn here.
I don't mind a thing here or there as long as its properly labeled....

I also don't allow stupid shit like click the link and you get 12341241312 pop ups that you can't stop. that's not work safe either.
And as for the whole "you shouldn't be looking at the net at work anyway..."
well, 90% of my job involes the internet. And thus, i have access to it. if i were to abuse that feature, but looking at porn, etc, then that woul dbe taken away from me. If that happens, im out of a job.
Loosing a job because someone decided to be "funny" is simply uncalled for, and I simply will not allow that, and will punish to the furthest extent of the law :)
 
"Not Work Safe" does not have to be porn.

there's lots of things that make things not work safe. If you at all feel that it MIGHT be, run it by a mod/admin BEFORE you post it if you have any doubts. its as simple as that.
 
I was just trying to further explain the work thing. I know I would get canned for it. I know you just thought it was a funny pic, which it is. But with an avitar you can not post a work warning for people, like you could for a racey topic. Lets drop it and move on.

You have been mistaken. He is like a web admin at some place and he has to fix the server when it goes down. So to "test" the internet, he surfs it basicly 24/7 while at work.
