Sizing problems, potentially.

I have a 91 rex si, and recently I met a person at the races that swears up and down you can fit 220-250s on my car. I have never really looked into anything over a 200, anyone know the max size you can run under a 91 rex? and NOT rub on a hard turn?

wheel size? are these on 18s 15s 13s???? it makes a big difference
wheel offset is also going to play a big part here
ive seen plenty of 225/15s with no problems
i think chet use to run 235/13s (not 100% sure but they were fuckin wide)

diameter and offset are going to determine what you can run

you could get a 225 on there without much problems... provided you have the right offset

what are you going that wide for?

K-swapped rex, or will be once its done. Need some way to put all that power to the ground. So i'm looking for the widest possible tires I can put under there.
