I just recently installed my Skunk 2 intake manifold on my GSR. I have the stock GSR ecu. I was wondering about the butterfly setting on the ecu? I already know that i got rid of that on the manifold but does it still try to engage at the set rpm or not. when driving it fells like it still surges at that rpm but I could be imagining it!
thanks for any help you give me!

all in your head. the ECU will still send the signal to activate the secondaries, but there isn't enough current being drawn to notice anything detrimental to performance.

it will not throw a code either, which you probably found out

yes the ecu will still send a signal to open up the butter fly IM.....but it's not going to be a but differances to where you can feel it unless your fully built.
