i have had my set for a little over a year and cant really complain too much. i would like them to be a little stiffer up front, any of you have the higher spring rates from skunk2? how do you like them? also is there any type of helper spring for the front? it really irritates me when im changing heights and i have to make sure the damn thing sets right.

what i dont need to hear: get some teins or ground control own or some shit like that, i have what i have and im trying to improve them.

what kind of shocks are you running? why not just get an adjustable pair of them? say koni yellows or some kyb agx's? maybe tokico illumina's?

right now im running kyb gr-2 i know there not as stiff as say the agx or the konis but i need them to last longer than a few months. thats why i thought to change the spring rates. i had thought of just getting some agx's in the front and not doing the spring change but im not sure what would be more beneficial. i know doing both would be best but i wanna see what some you guys have to say.

few months?? my illuminas have lasted me a year so far and they been in the car i took them out of for awhile i assume and they are still good.

i have had a few friends that ran adjustable shocks and they died after 4-6 months or so. maybe because of ride height im not sure.

hmmm thanks man, you're answering my question with your question. :)

I think I'm a get some skunk2 coilovers, 338 bucks for adjustable ride height isn't half bad, considering they're cheaper than even other sets for the same kit basically. (I need to make my ride stock or higher when I'm delivering, and lower for whenever...) ;)

Are your KYB GR2s in good shape? I dunno waht kinda strut I should get, GR2s, AGXs, Illumina's or koni's

338 is way to much for skunk2 coil overs, i got mine from http://inlinefour.com/ for 270 plus shipping. i like my gr-2's a lot for normal daily driving and they seem to be about as good as when i put them in a year ago, but if you want more performance the agx's or koni's would be better.

wow, holy crap thanks for showing me that. 68 + shipping difference in price for the same shit. Thanks man

My car is/still will be a daily driver, nothing to aggressive. But I haven't made up my mind, I'm still going to shop around for different struts.

Yeah I bought GR2s for my Escort a while back...never got a chance to put em on before I sold the car to TPP. I think I got mine for 70 each...so 280 for a set. Great deal I thought...they've been sitting in my room for a year now though. :(

Tryin to sell em for 55/each just to get rid of them, those along with my 1.5" lowering springs I got from suspension tech. Dunno why they're not sold yet. :(

Goddamn... you guys are getting assraped for those s2 coilovers. I got them for 210 out the door at Speedline in Tacoma. I guess it pays to have connections, huh? ;)

Wanna connect up for some 210 skunk2 coilovers then ....eh?.......eh?

*nudge nudge*

Well, if I was anywhere near home i would totally get you the HS homie hookup, but as it is I am 270 miles away at college. Sorry :(

i ran my koni yellows for about 2 years slammed. then i sold them to afipunk

hmm maybe my friends had retarded shocks then or just by chance they blew out fast. still what do you recommend more the spring change or the shock change?
