S2S2 needs a minimun type R dual valve spring/retainers. S2 recommends aftermarket. Those cams also require higher compression use them to its full potential. 11.5.1 is ideal for n/a setups.

S2S3 requires for sure aftermarket dual valve springs and retainers. Requires a high compression motor to use them to its full potential. Not to mention those are race cams so idle will be compromised AND will suck up some gas on the top end....but ohh they are some nasty cams. they make power way up there in the rpm rage so if your motor can stand the rev's, dont even bother buying them

I had the S2S2's on a 11.3.1 motor. Very good idle and overall great performance.
