Is there anyway to fix my seatbelts so they actually roll up when i'm not using them. I know it's just because of age and i drive a 95 dx hatch. When I unhook my seatbelt it just pretty much stays in the same spot and dosent roll up. Is there anyway to fix this?

Why not buy a new unit from a junkyard? I've also heard that Honda repalces malfunctioning SRS equipment free of charge so you might want to look into that also.

I know they replace 90-91CRX belts for free.

If you take the mechanism out of the door and clean up the gears inside of it, add a little grease, they'll be good as new. They slow down because of debris and seat belt fibers sticking in the factory grease.

Take it to the dealer. Seriously. It's safety equipment, and most of the time they'll fix it up free of charge. It's not something you just want to mess with on your own if you don't know what you're doing (not saying you don't).

:werd: honda fixes seatbelts for free :)
