anybody in the sacramento area know of a place where I can get a certificate to pass smog ? my buddies 2 cars didn't pass and he really needs to get his cars to pass the check so that he can register the cars.

in colorado most mountian counties are emission free,if it works that way in cali get a buddy up there to let you list your permnament address there and live as a temp everywhere else.
I do and havent messed w/CO emissions in 10 years,I dont even have a sticker witch gets me pulled in denver once in awhile but when they see it's registered in clear creek county they say have a nice day sir
.I've run CO plates in Iowa for 5 years w/a Iowa CDL for 5 years,local cop hates it but he is powerless so no emissions here either.
