I thought it was one of the better ones. Three 40+ yrd completed FG's, a completed onside before the 4th, tied most completed passes and sidelining a QB for an entire quarter just about. It was a pretty damn exciting game from my perspective.

Yeah I thought as far as SB's go, it was one of the better ones, but I think the "event" that it has become has made the game itself less compelling.

I'm a big football fan, but I could honestly take or leave the super bowl at this point.

I made my comments in the football pick thread.

I will say that Indy played like absolute garbage in the second half. They gave up when they had time and tried too hard when they didn't.

Who goes to a game to see field goals? And the opening second half onside kick was a play out of Ohio State's book. They did it earlier this year and shocked everyone as well. It was an on and off game in my eyes.
Oh, and F Reggie Bush and the whore he rode in on. (Yes, Im talking about you Kim Kardashian.)

I love The Who performance if that counts for anything.

40+ yard field goals don't impress me all that much. I went to school with the starting kicker for Michigan State. Brian Wright, I believe his name is. I watched that kid kick a 63 yard field goal. He had like 90+ percent success rate. I think he missed like 2 kicks the entire season, and one was slapped down. And as for the halftime show, meh. Didn't hate it. I love the who, but they're old. They weren't the best, and it seemed at parts they were lip/guitar syncing.

The who performance was definitely lacking in my mind. As for the game, it was pretty good imo. The fourth quarter was so bad it left a bad taste in my mouth. I started watchibg bath crashers on DIY at that point.

This. I kept saying their lips and guitars weren't in sync with the music but no one would believe me!

What about the commercials? A few good ones... Doritos Samurai was probably my favorite, the Visio ad with David goes to the Dentist, Tay Zonday and the Numa Numa guy?

i noticed that too. as a guitar player....

the only live sounds where little lead fills here and there. you could clearly tell the difference.

    the rest was a cd.

what drove me crazy is i could see the mutes on the drums. Which might have to do with the fact that he was playing on ludwigs
clear set which sound like garbage in my opinion

The Dorito's casket was my favorite

horseshit is sucked! The Saints, knowing they were out gunned, rolled the dice on a super aggressive gameplan to keep the Colts offense off the field

    1. While the uber long drive in the second looked boring it was actually brilliant. The Colts had a little under 2 minutes of ball control in the second

    2. The onside kick to start the second half is NUTS. Statistically the odds of getting the ball back are a little better then one in ten. Even with the trick onside kick you're looking at no less then a two thirds chance that Peyton Manning get's the ball with GREAT field position with the lead. They got the ball and it kept Manning off the field where he could not get into a rhythm.

    3. The pick six was awesome. That receiver is in man coverage. Jumping the route to get the interception is half intuition, if the DB guesses wrong that play is good for no less then 40 yards.

The Saints let it all hang out and beat the better team by using everything but the kitchen sink

Right when the technical guitar solo stuff started, Townshend turned around and put his back to the camera so you couldn't watch his fingers. And he completely missed the guitar a few times when he did the windmill thing.

Ol' fella's probably got a whole jar of Icy Hot on his shoulder right now just from that. :D

But it's probably wrapped in hundred dollar bills, too.

Lame ass comment. That was a friggin great game. Here's a TFLN, from a friend from New Orleans, who flew back to NO just to watch the game:

    Werd. It was awesome.

I understand there's lag, but the lag didn't add up. That was the problem.
