Soda or Pop?

ok me and my friend at college are always debating this, and its jus funny making each other for it, so im going to the national level. i call it soda. he calls it pop. tell me what everyone else calls their carbonated beverages.

Is is soda or pop?

This guy I knew from cincinatti came to my house and was calling it pop! I laughed my ass off and he was like "What?" I guess it is different in different states.

where i grew up (western new york, around rochester) it was pop. i hated it.
now i'm in south jersey and it's soda. much better.
