sohc turbo

is it really worth having a fully built sohc turbo in a eg? some of my friends been doing it and i think its pointless..i rather have a dohc motor with turbo.

Its about money. D series are cheap. If you got the money spend it on a B series. If you dont have the money do a D and itll be almost as fast.

for a low budget project its not that bad, but itll never live up to the possibilities of a dohc. i have seen some fuckin crazy ones though....i guess it depends on what the exterior mods are. at the nopi race wars in st louis last year there was a crx with a one piece front end, fiberglass hatch, fiberglass doors and fiberglass sunroof with an sohc vtec turbo and he pulled off mid 11's. i dont remember if it was bottle fed or not though.....hope this helped a little...
