I dont know how much power I got with the performance spark plugs i will let you know when i install my b16 =) ok...fukin queers...arguing over spark plugs lol...
ok and now the second question do you think your a noob ?

yea, be sure to let us know how much power those spark plugs add.. i'm sure it'll be a ton

this thread is kick a** this is some of the funniest shit i have ever heard in my life. That kid is a dumbass. like the other guy said do bolt ons and suspension and i would personally recomened nitrous a 50 shot would be good, and you can pick up a kit for 400-500 dollars with bolt ons suspension and tires you will spank plenty of stuff on the road i did. i ran mid 13's on a 99 civicwith a d16y8 and bolt ons with a 50 shot. listen 2 ahhvtec he knows his shit he helped me alot, listen to him. another opption is for 1500 dollars you can get a fully build head cam new vlves spring fully ported and polished out from the head to the throttle body it is a good buy but do bolt on's first go to gude.com for the head packages.

BOSCH PLUGS (that right there is a 15 or is it more like 100 hp upgrade, and where can i get those magical plugs)

You know...I'd stick with NGK. Honda has spent numerous hours and tons of money testing spark plugs for which ones run the best in their engines. I think I would trust them a little more than some ad that says bosch plugs are better. I may be wrong, but that's my honest opinion.

Also, don't just throw on bolt-on parts. Make sure the parts you get work with one another. It would be pointless to port and polish a head and get a new valvetrain if you are going to run your stock header. Just use common sense. A good tune with simple bolt-ons (i-h-e) will produce a decent amount of power for a small amount of money.

from the head to the throttle body it is a good buy but do bolt on's first. is what i said if you read and yes i wouldnt run anything but NGK in a honda they are the best bolt on's and spray is the best power for the money

If you spray, make sure you tune first. Don't put on some outrageous amount of spray if you aren't tuned and built. I have seen numerous engines toasted because of someone just throwing on a nitrous kit. Bang for your buck...spray is the answer. Just be careful and know when enough is enough.

your a fukin joke dude..i said to use the plugs because they were recommended to me by the mechanic who did my car.,.you have other shyt to use ..I said bosch because they make your engine cooler..You can use other shyt to dont matter !:fuckyou3::tisk:

Cooler isn't necessarily better. Engines are designed to run at a certain temperature by the manufacturer...this design is more than likely for numerous reasons...economy, power output, and engine life. Why change a good thing? I am not saying you are right or wrong, but don't do everything someone else tells you just because they are a mechanic. If you saw power gains, more power to you (pun intended). I go with what I know and with what I have seen. I have been through a technical school for engines and cars and am presently being put through school by Mercedes. I have seen tests and have even had teachers who worked for Bosch...and they all agree that Bosch may not be the best plug for every application. I am not trying to start a word war, because frankly I don't really care that much about the issue. Just stating what I know and what I have seen...take it or leave it.

Bigger engine ? If you were from Fall River where I am from it is easy to get a k22 for very very cheap money ! alot of people around here sell "hooked up" hondas that need some work for a very reasonable price with great engines and you just rip out the engine or fix uup the body and whatever else needs fixing.

I just got my self a B16 engine for $100 lol..But yea you could drop a turbo in your car look around online for a cheap turbo..Ebay maybe ? sometimes you get full turbo kits for like $600 if you look long and hard enough..Honda Civic Parts Specialists has alot of parts real cheap..
MSD igniton wires and Denso spark plugs-$120.00. Or Bosch Super 4 SparkPlugs..I have those and they work GREAT(recommended)
Clutch Kit-$390.00.
Cam Gears-$108.00.
Racing headers-$400.00.
High performance Radiators-$340.00.
Cold Air Intake-$100.00-$260.00
thats just some stuff I think you could use to make your car ALOT faster.but some people on honda swap might think there are better things

Wow Ant0n3   that's absolutly the worst way to start. Believe me (and i'm not trying to beat on you ) you don't know what you're talking about. I don't know how things are where you live but if all this knowledge is coming from reputable shops there , you guys are extremely screwed.

There is a tremendous amount of knowlege and people that know what they talking about here on Hondaswap . Just learn and stop arguming about bosch spark plugs giving more hp.:)
No offense!

Sorry for thread jacking but we have all been noobs and this one is a special one :)

To bigboarder127 may be save for turbo?

About time I have some 1 who isnt a dick head about this hole advice thing ! I dont know much about the plugs..just what the mechanic said about them coolin the engine...I quess some people have there own advice about certain car part and what not..seems people get mad for no reason..lol fighting over a spark plug comment ! But yes like I said no need for people to start a fight over a comment about spark plugs..but w.e if they feel the need to argue with me over a comment about plugs then so be it lol.
I have been through a technical school for engines and cars and am presently being put through school by Mercedes.
and good for you man good luck in that shyt...should make good money !..and do you suggest any spark plugs to use ..seeing how im wrong ?:hmm:

AntOn3...I stated before to use the plugs that the OEM suggests. They put countless man-hours and testing into finding which plug gives the best performance for that engine. I mean, I am no genius, but why screw with something that someone has researched for a reason, just because one person or an ad says that they are better. If they truly were better...why did Honda not use them in the first place? Thanks for the luck. I start the Mercedes program on May 7th in Orlando. It's a 15 week program paid for by Mercedes...I think it will be a blast. I hope some of my comments have helped, but don't take them for absolute right, you can do whatever you want.

i'm not arguing with you over plugs.. i'm just stating that you're a dumbass and need to quit spreading misinformation that those wonderful mechanics tell you

thanks man + rep for you

and Ant0n3 the argument was only about 5 % about the plugs you have very bad info and before you start tring to help someone make sure you know what your talking about and if you find out your wrong go back and make it right and say you was wrong. and that question i asked you that you never answered i just looked at your other threads and yup your a noob all the way

lol ok thanx hillbilly. And I only posted 1 thread and that was about my engine swap ! and eveyrhting else I posted was either on someone else's thread saying nice work or good job !..and I neva told the guy to install those parts in his car..I just listed what could make a car fatser ! NOOB

Man! We were all Noobs at one time, hell, with only a little over a hundred posts I am probably still considered one. We all have given misinformation once or twice...it happens, but when you find out the correct answer...just don't be an ass about it. We've all been proven wrong. Big deal...move on. No point in arguing or name calling over the internet...I can think of a great cliche for arguing on the internet, old but true. Arguing on the internet is like the special olympics...even if you win...you're still retarded.
