Just because you slap a set of coil overs on a car doesn't mean it automatically handles well.
He doesn't have any threads where he tries to pass off a turd mobile as a "dope" car. Your point is invalid.
A Taurus is still a Taurus. It's an obese looking car with zero attractive body lines. If you're comparing apples to apples, you would have compared it to a top of the line Corvette as the SHO was considered the top of the line Taurus.
It makes me laugh to even mention that car it's such a piece of shit.

Most hondas around have D15 motors and are never given more than 1/4 throttle?
a clean civic with GSR swap (stock motor) with bolt on will dip into the 13s with a good driver. do some minor motor work and you're looking at low 13s, start shaving off weight and go with a legit motor build and you'll be in the 12s, or be like Fred Ellis 10 years ago and strip out a CRX and build a junk yard motor from random engine parts, and run 11s with a N/A non vtec motor.

It has nothing to do with the car, in fact this current car is hands down the best car hes had, it's the fact that hes talking chit about hondas and how much better it is VS any other honda he has built, when it comes down to it, he takes a honda, dumps chit into them and turns out a chit product and now hes talking down on hondas as a whole because his SHO is much better. Sadly my wife's stock 2007 Civic SI with 110K miles would most likely out brake, out handle, and out drag his SHO. And her car is slow as shit.
I drive my Civic because it handles reasonably well for a 20+ y/o car and it gets good gas mileage. Right now id much rather be saving money instead of spending it on something that will never equal the sum of its parts.
We mostly drive the gfs A4 to work and back because its comfortable and quiet and has heated seats and is safer than my Civic. It doesn't get good gas mileage but when we always carpool everywhere that effectively doubles our mpgs.
