Here is a list of what has been replaced. I just put a new distributor on my 90 crx si. Also replaced the igniter, coil, rotor, cap, wires and the short wiring harness that goes to the igniter and coil. Have checked the timing belt also to make sure it is correct. Originally had a no start problem. Tracked it to the distributor and went ahead and did the above. Now it starts and runs but poorly. Give it gas and it revs up to 3000-3500 rpm (limp mode?) and misfires. Every time it misfires the spark goes from the distributor housing to the head. I can clearly see it when i loosen the distributor to try and adjust the timing. Anyone ever seen this before? I talked to a couple honda mechanics and they have never heard of something like this???
