whats the difference with ngk standard plugs and ngk v power plugs? they cost the same, but which on is better?
 
the standard plugs the copper electrode is flat, the V-power the electrode has a v looking notch in them.
this provides a sharper edge. This helps lower the amount of energy required to initiate the spark. I don't know the 100% technical reason, but sparks occur on the sharp edges of the plug.
 
i got some actual irridium plugs on my car and it gave my car a lot of kick compared to the stocks i kept on using. i dont know how good it compares to the copper tips
