spedometer problems

i hav a 1988 crx dx, a 1991 b18a1, and a 93 jdm b16 cable tranny....

my spedometer cable does not plug into the sensor different...what do i do? do i need the cluster of the car that the tranny came from...or shud i shud get one of those autometer spedometers

are you using your stock cable?
i had problems using my stock one(little jumpy) so i picked up one for a LS cable trans and it worked fine
