I dont know if you've noticed lately. Americans don't like alot of things that California does.

CA needs to start a program for low use modded cars. Charge $50.00 a month to allow people to have a permit to allow them to mod their cars, the catch? you would need the car checked once a year for mileage to show that you're driving under the limit of the allowed amount.

I'd gladly pay that to have a modded car with not being worried about getting my car taken.

Speed cameras are only new to people who don't get out very often.

they have had these here in tn for a while now.
the first intersection to get them here was in gallatin. they cost i think like 100k, plus whatever service charge the company gives the city.
they said they expected maybe about 50 to 100k in tickets per year.

they made over 1 million in under a year.
    thats just one intersection.

so yeah, they are going to make some money off of these.

i have never gotten one, but it would seem that they would be very easy to fight.
if i ever do get one, i'll fight it just to fight it. just to see if i could win.

the problem with these kinds of things are: there are usually no buffer zones.
if you are doing 1mph over the limit, most likely they will ticket you.

how often can you say you are doing EXACTLY the speed limit?
you cant, because there are so many factors between your actual speed and the speed that your speedometer is showing you that you most likely never do the speed you think you are doing.
also, you would have to be paying attention to your speed at every second of driving.

    lmao.
they watched him put the mask on before speeding by the camera.
so obviously they were there while he was speeding.
why the fuck didnt they pull him over?
    too fucking funny.

Phoenix isn't even close to the same degree as LA is.

I would drive in Phoenix any day before I willingly chose LA.

Here in NM (ABQ) to get a ticket from the red light cameras is a joke. here it's considered a nuisance law kinda like having your car stereo too loud (also a law here) I would say because of the wording of the law probably half of the tickets don't get paid. The city used to get all profit from the cameras, as soon as the state saw how well the city was doing they took the profit and left the city with only enough money to maintain the cameras etc......
