yesterday i was just driving my civic to my friend's house then all of a sudden i saw that the speedometer was jumping. the weird thing is that it only works if i'm in gear and stepping on the gas. but if i let go the gas pedal while in gear, it drops to zero mph?? i checked the cable and it's plugged in all the way. when i slow down to about 10mph while turning a corner or something i can hear like some gears or something grinding right behind the gauges but the noise goes away and it starts to read the correct mph once i step on the gas...anyone have an idea of what this could be. i'm about to finally get mr pr3 ecu back so i can have my vtec back but i know vtec won't hit and it'll throw a code 17 cuz of the speedo...any ideas??...thanks
