Speedometer Question/problem

    Hey all, i just finished my b18a into 1990 CRX Si and i got it running and all was going well till I took my friend for a cruise, the Speedometer went dead, and the engine check light came on, as u know u have to replace the speedo cable when doing the swap. I haven't checked anything yet. but what should i check for. should i check the back of Dash?look at the speedo itself, or what? please help me i wanna get this this delt with asap. :kick: , sry just had to put that in its to halarious not to.

    I'd start looking in the bay first.Did you swap out the cable yet?

    Ya i got a new cable and did everything right but it still isnt working.

    id be doin a quick check at the tranny first. make sure it didnt pop loose..


    will a no speed signal in a car that old throw a check engine light ?? or is it just coincidental???
