speedomoter doesnt work.

A friend of mine rear ended someone and now his speedomoter does not work. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what caused this and how to fix it.

Take out the cluster and check the wiring...unscrew the screws holding it in, then pull out the cluster and check all of the wires (there should be 3 or 4 plugs going into it)
