I bought this used header and I was toold it was a spoon, how can i tell its real, and if it stainless, is stainless magnetic, also it was previously dented on the bottom and fixed by welding will this affect the flow exuast

Does it have a Jasma stamp/logo on one of the primarys. If it doesn't even have that, it means that it is not even a JDM aftermarket header.

Yes, stainless steal is steal, and iron and steal are magnetic, aluminum and titainum are not.

well, there are stypes of stainless steel that are non-magnetic for the record

304 stainless for example, is non-magnetic

the higher the grade of stainless steel, the less magnetic it is.
the lower the grade (more carbon), the more magnetic it is.
that is fact. my dad is a steelworker.

yep, or even go to the spoon website and it will show the header
