spring question

    hey do the springs from an ek fit on a dc? i always thought that the eg springs where the one that fit

    found the answer out the hard way..lol ek springs don't fit you need eg springs or stock dc spring incase anyone does a search

    That's kind of what I assumed, but didn't know for sure. The EG and DC are built around the same frame, so lots of interchangeable parts there...

    yeah the eg parts are pretty much the same but the ek springs and the dc springs are a bit different not much but they are i took the one spring off and compared them and i was like damn not the same. live and learn

    so why wont they fit? i know for a fact that they fit.. i'm running EK H&R sports on my Integra, no problem what so ever.. you probably compared the rear springs to the front or vice versa

    nah i made sure it was the front i had labels on them, will it fit sure it can fit with a little twisting and turning but it just didn't fit right on the shock. and just so i didn't say i put hem on wrong i put all for springs on them just to make sure i didn't have them mixed up, but it could be because i had lowering springs and stock springs in my hand and it might of looked different

    are you sure they're EK springs and not an Accord or Prelude or something.. when i removed the stock integra springs the only difference between them and the H&R sports was the length of the spring.. mounted perfectly too...

    100% sure they are from my 97 civic lx that i owned and where i got my name from :D
