The EP hatch isn't that bad... <_<

There was a guy on here that posted his Type R conversion on his new Si and it was sick. He had the R body kit and wing and some nice rims, dropped. I think it was pretty fookin tight. But, EG hatches do own all as far as hatches go.
I actually like the EP hatch more than the EK hatch, tho. :ph34r:
EK's hatch is slanted waaaaaayyyyy too much.

many people say it sucks b/c the new variable cam timing is hard to tune and because it turns the "normal" direction it wont bolt on to popular b-series transmissions.
 
man I don't know why but the thing is slow, I never drove one but.....lets say I have another friend with 95 hatch havy as hell cuz the bondo and shit, speakers, stuff like that.... with a 94 I believe GSR in it....and his GSR is not that fast eather......

even he messed up a type S so I don't know

the 200hp type S against 170 hp beaten up GSR.......

GSR had it.......so I guess the K20 wrapper is way too heavy for this shit

hatches= lighter than coupes :thumbsup:
coupes= heavier than hatches :thumbsdown:

the new Si= starting to grow on me (I love the stock rims) :ph34r: :hide:

The new Si also looks pretty sweet with the CTR lip set on it... makes a HUGE difference.
 
yeah and the rest of the car is too... :doh: I can't believe I'm saying this. But fuck I'm also starting to like the Focus SVT 3door hatchback...


New Si= 2.0; 160 hp 132 ft lbs; with upgradability from the K20a2 5 sp, lots of cargo room. It's just becoming more appealing...yet I think the Focus has more to offer per base price & what you get.


SVT= 2.0; 170 hp 145 ft lbs; with a nice aftermarket and a 6 sp :)worthy:), and lots of cargo room.
 
well i drove a RSX type s and i wasnt impressed the only thing that i like is the fact that it has a 6th gears that shit comes in handy on the freeway mostly when racing eclipse's on the freeway being they have a high high speed compared to a b16. but the new Si does nothing for me maybe if u put the 6 speed in it and made it not look at the focus as much.
 
I owned a RSX base model. Sucked so much balls that on the 5th day of owning it, I asked the dealership to take it back because I did not want it. It was a big dealership so they took the crap back. I had to sign some papers but everything worked out ok. It was 5speed and sucked hella. Weak ass shit. When I had it I beat my friends V6 mustang, but that is not saying much.

Revolution8k, If you like the ford focus' then thats cool, I respect that, but IMO they are wack, even the focus hatchback. :puke:
 
haha I beat Mustang V6s with my Escort GT. :lol: Anyway, the RSX is heavier than the Civic Si but has the same power. Thats probably why you didnt like it...and thats why I think I could only go for the Type S.
