Here's a couple vids I took for a friend interested in buying NOS. I figured I'd share them here too if anyone was curious about squeezing their neon. I know there's a couple neon owners on here ;)

Right click and save them. They need to be viewed with Quicktime too. Sorry for the shakiness in some of it, I was the only one in the car and my NOS works on push-button.


This guy I raced 3 times, everytime it turned out the same. The first vid was VERY shaky and the 2nd one I tried to get a shot out the back window and only got the rear deck :lmao: This was the only decent vid of running this guy :)

He was at least cool after. He came up on the side, I was llaughing hysterically in the car, he started to laugh and gave me a thumbs up. I love when people doubt the pee-on cause it looks nasty as fuck :lmao:
 
I counted it before, its like 8 seconds in the first and 5 in the second. You can see the 75HP jump in the race vid though :)
 
Yeah no kidding, if a neon can beat a 350Z.. Ill put spray on every car i own.. lol sad that i talk crap about neons but my car couldnt hope to keep up with that one :p
 
Its got a lil more then just some spray ;)


Figure the Neon weighs about 2000lbs gutted like mine is. I should have about 200whp with the NX on. That gives the Neon a .1 Power to Weight Ratio.

350Z weighs 3000lbs, being nice there too. It has 287 from the factory which gives it 250ish WHP. That gives the Z .083 Power to Weight Ratio.

Not all that crazy that I could pull away from him :)

Isn't the older STi supposed to have a 9lb/hp ratio ? The WS6 T/A does, and the MR2 SC did with a pulley.
 
Heh I thought 350Z's came with over 330 from the factory, oops lol.
Still impressive, and one hell of a sleeper.
 
The early ones came with 287, I looked at the new ones and it said 300. My sister had one the first year they came out, it was quick but not terribly impressive.
 
a stock 350z at best will pull a high 13second 1/4

right now you should be about a 13.2
 
I dont have a bottle heater yet, so it takes a few shots to get the bottle up to pressure and pulling really hard steadily. I bought a bottle blanket, it helps a lot but I still need the heater. The tach vids, it pulled hard but not as hard up top as it does after a few shots. It was working AOK when I raced that 350 though :)
 
It sure is. I love coming out of a turn and laying on the gas with the bottle on. Tire smokin fun :D
