Ok, here are the manifolds in order:

HKS $850, and from what their website says, its made from sus304 stainless steel. The website said it's constructed of 304 SS, I have heard nothing bad from this manifold via searching.

SP-Power.com, $350 - made from 304 stainless, from all the reviews I read people posted about cracking, a "possible" solution is to have more welding done, add brackets so there is some support for the weight of the turbo, and the motor movement, and add a flexpipe on the downpipe to reduce stress.

JIC $ 650-700, not sure what its' constructed from, their website says stainless steel "derr, I thought it was cf!!", upon researching the manifold, found out a couple cases of cracking. Here are some pics of the bottom, side, and top views.

JGYcustoms.com, $300-400, the site didn't say whats its constructed from and I couldn't find anyone that posted online any experience from this manifold.

Uras manifold, $499, this is "mr. drift monkey" company, I have yet to read a post about this manifold, and it must be bought from JDM land.

ProjectSivlia.com, $399, have seen posts about this cracking, and looks similar to the sp-power manifold. 304 SS construction.

TurboCalculator.com, $399, haven't read any posts about it, and I wish they posted better pics of possibly the welds on their site.

And here is the round up of the generic manifolds that run between $150-300 bucks.

Enjukuracing.com manifold, $299, peeps have been saying that this is the same exact manifold that obx makes.

ok, so there is the list for stock replacement, t2 flanged bottom mounted manifolds. There are debates about 304 SS and 321 SS, but all arguments point to the welding.

Hey Milan, I'll print some of these pics and if you can find a template of the head flange I'll take it to JGS and ask em about it, y0

:) actually not for a little while, atleast for the program I want.

I didn't even see 316ss offered anywhere, nor mentioned,

I guess what I will do is keep researching and checking out posts, and trying to make some contacts on people who can make the manifold.

Well, this I know, that there was a 10whp loss from switching from an aftermarket manifold back to the stocker, on a 325RWHP SR motor, I mean it's not like a lot, so maybe i should just stick with the stocker, and have it ceramic coated and call it a day.

that could be a good option. It could also allow you to save a bit of money and buy a better quality turbo.

well, planned on running the oem manifold with the stock t28, while running that I wanted to piece together a nice turbo system (good manifold cermanic coated, GT28RS turbo exhaust side ceramic coated, and cermaic coated Greddy turbo extension)

remember, my goal was to hit 300-310ish RWHP from a bottom mounted, quick spooling, internal wastegate, doesn't cost an arm and a leg turbo system :)

s14 ;) ......t28

i was hoping that you would give me more credit than that B, :D

S13 "FLAT Black/Red Top" 370cc's
Compressor: T-25, 60 trim 56mm BCI-1 compressor.
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.
Center Section: Journal bearings

S14 "hump Black top" 370cc's
Compressor: T-28, 60 trim 60 mm BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing
Turbine: T-25, 62 trim 53.8mm 0.64 A/R turbine housing.
Center Section: Ball Bearing

S15 "hump Black top" 480cc's
Compressor: T-28, 60 trim 60 mm BCI-1 compressor in T-04B housing
Turbine: Inco turbine wheel. Cast divider wall between turbine discharge and wastegate.
Center Section: Ball Bearing

just don't know what chassis I will end up putting it into....

Do I see a nice black s14 SE in my near future, maybe yes, maybe no, ?

fcuk this topic.........the game plan is S15 manifold ported and ceramic coated with a GT28RS turbo "exhaust housing ceramic coated", and Turbo extension.

that WILL hit 315RWHP running good, and that is all I need......

close topic..................
