stage of turbo

This is a newb question but what is the difference in the stage wheels in turbos. Is it just the size or something... please explain this in detail

Yes, size- and "stages" for each manufacturer will be completely different.

Learn how to read compressor maps, do some calculations on how you want to pressurize your specific engine, then pick.
