starting

my belts make funny noise when i start my car until i let go of the clutch. what is this???

how many KM on the car?? could be your tension belt or timing?

Are you sure its your belts and not some transmission bearing ?
Is it a squeaking sound?

not totally sure it sure sounds like belts though. i only hear it when i start and until i let go of the clutch pedal. yes its squeaky and loud. I am in the USA So i dont count it by KM its got like 140,000 miles on it tho.

its prolly an AC, Alt, or PS belt. It just so happens that you let off the clutch at teh same time it stops.

But then again it could always be something else. I would inspect those belts though.

Check your belts yeah, but after that inspect u`re tranny. Might be throw out bearing or just even the pressure plate which is squeaking.
