im just wondering which would be more reliabe but still be fast on the street and also give me a quick quarter mile time

1. rebuilt b20b block, honed and micropolished crank with b16 vtec head, itr intake manifold , arp head studs

2. rebuilt b18b block, jdm b16 pistons, arp rod bolts and head studs with the same b16 vtec head

go b20, i would take the bigger displacement. . . reliable is a tricky word, because they can both be reliable, but not if you run them like there race motors

i have an ls/vtec w/b16 pistons and gsr head and have put over 20000 hard miles on it with rebuilt bottom end and have not had any problems

I say go with the B20 and get those RS machine cast pistons for it. They're cheap, and have the same dome profile as the ITR pistons, but in 84mm.
