i'd estimate about 10K in the truck now
purchase price for those damn tacomas are so high
a little over 5K just for the truck
and 10K might be a high estimate
big money items would be 4wd/chrome front conversion, rims, front cups and bags, 800 on compressors
a lots of money for steel, welding wire, and cutting wheels/sawzall blades

hell yeah recked!! how hard was it to raise the bed floor and how far did it get it raised? those Viar 480s are bad mofos!! he should get a 12 gallon tank...or hell, maybe 2 12 gallons...lol. again, looks awesome bro.

bed floor is a pain in the dick
you basically pull the bed side, cut out the inner bed side, and then put it back together
gets tricky when you want to hide the welds under the bed rail and you need to keep it square and it has to match the other side
we only have the one side cut off and fit so far, not welded yet, but that should be the easy part
the floor was raised about 7 inches
sucks when you cut your stock bed to clear the notches, then decide to go with a body drop and stock floor
not such a big deal with an s10, beds are cheap
tacoma beds are rare, especially with no rust, and expensive as fuck

at least its not a ranger :p

So you're not really "raising the bedfloor" you're lowering the sides to keep the bedfloor stock.

no he raised up the bed floor. you got to do that if you wanna keep your bed OR do what i did and that was to cut a section out in the bed for the notch and bridge. like this:

recked...try working with a Ford Ranger Splash bed. the inner bed is metal where as the flares and most of the outside is fiberglass. yeah not good...lol. the regular beds on the other Rangers are all metal tho.

well, the notch sits about 4-5 inches above where the bed should bolt
bed used to bolt right on the frame, so the mounts need to be raised so the floor of the bed sits on top of the notch now
so the bed side gets dropped about 3 inches to match the body lines on the cab and the floor gets raised 4 inches to clear the notch

tailgate will remain in stock location in relation to the bedsides
the bed floor will be about half way down the tailgate instead of at the bottom
the plan is to mount all 4 chrome compressors under the raised bed floor, all the way in the back, so when you do open the tailgate, you'll see 4 chrome compressors in a row in the area between where the tailgate is laying open, and the bed floor begins.
