Does anyone know what the diameter of the stock Type R exhaust piping is? I have a friend who is putting a ITR motor in his civic and wants to get the same size diameter piping as the ITR. Furthermore, how much bigger or smaller than stock could someone go with their piping in order to maintain the same performance?
 
2.5" is the size of a stock ITR. Bigger or smaller will alter performance a little. I'm going with a 2.36" Apex WorldSport 2 until I can get a full Hytech ordered and made. I'll have my exhaust on by Saturday night and I'm racing with it Sunday morning. I'll let you know how it goes.
 
I've got my Apex WS2 on and it sounds awesome. NO RICE at all. Looks clean too. I'll snap some photos today and post a link in here. I love this exhaust.
