Stock p28 has rev limiter to 5000 ?? ummm

I got a p28 and connected it to my jdm d15b.

My stock ecu goes up all the way to 7000revs ... (limiter somewhere there anyway) ... with the p28 it only wanted to rev till 5000.

I didn`t know a p28 was so `limited` from the factory

I`ll chip it later on but i was just curious about this thing... any comments ?

somethings is fuck3d.

redline is 7200, fuel cut is 7600 on the p28.

you miss wired something or the d15 doesn't like the p28

Well yes indeed its throwing code 22 and code 41 ... but how does that has to do with it ?

I have a d15b vtec with obd2 to ob1 harness

It revs up normally when i hook up my old obd2 ecu .... hmmmmm strange
Could it be the converstion harness ? .. although i think its quite improbable ..its very high quality ... HeLp

an ecu throwing codes puts it into limp mode.

it diables you from revving higher so you don't damage more shit.

Fix your codes, and you'll fix your revving problem.

could be the conversion harness--- could be something else. find the wires and trace them for those 2 circuits for the 2 codes that are being thrown.
