stolen motors

    just wondering if neone on hondaswap is using a stolen motor....I have a legit motor and legit everything on my car but here around MA there are alot of theives selling stolen motors for cheap. My question is how would I be caught after buying one of these? ...I mean they have vin numbers on the block but when do they actually check it


    FOR ALL THE HATERS.....IM LEGIT AND JUST CURIOUS SO NO NEED TO FLAME

    A cop may pop your hood or VIN #'s may be checked when you have it tested for smog,

    True, but only if the vin number is registered as a stolen vehicle.

    you know you have a stolen motor and believe it or not some people can't stand the thought of knowing some dumb fuck benifited from you lack of morals

    a kid in my town, i dont know him but, he put a b18c5 in his civic for a grand, so even he knew it was stolen. then he heard that they were gonna steal it back so he sold the car. thats the scheme i ussually hear about. who is gonna report their car stolen when they know they had a stolen motor.

    There will be no talk of Stolen motors on this board. Thieves only steal because their is a market.
