strange groaning noise after car is shut off

well, the teg started making this groaning noise in the trunk area right after you shut off the car.. it lasts about 3-4 seconds and slowly gets quieter, almost like its relieving pressure.. any idea of what this could be.. i'll take a video of it when Jen gets home

no, not the antenna.. thats stuck in the low position and i know the sound from that..

Open your fuel door and cap and have someone else turn off your car. If its the fuel pump you will hear it very clearly.

naw, sounds like the fuel pump. put your ear next to the lower portion of the rear seat when you shut the car off and see if it gets any louder.
