my tensioner bolt hole was stripped, and the engine is still inside the car..
how to fix this?
 
heliacoil (sp) or time insert..any local machine shop should be able to handle it..hopefully your block is out of the car
 
good luck with the amount of room you have o work in..you will probably have to yank the motor out..sorry
 
You still have to have room to screw the helicoil in, which I don't think you'll have with the engine in the car. maybe try removing the mount and tilting the engine down a bit.
 
well,.. i removed the mounts.. n i was able to fit a tap to rethread in there.. so i rethreaded the bolt hole, and for now its holding.. hope it stays that way
