stroker kit

    i was looking at stroker kits for my ls/vtec. but i want to bore out the block also. could i use one for a crvtec if the ls block is bored out to 84mm?

    WTF? You want a stroke longer than 89mm?

    yeah, you can stroke it out to 95mm from what i've seen, which will give you about a 2.2L @ 84mm. not many people have done it, so i couldn't tell you what to look out for. all i know is that crower and eagle both sell kits. good luck.

    a crv crank is the same as the LS, I think.

    CRV and LS cranks are the same, yes.

    Gah, 95mm? That doesn't seem very rev-happy.

    95mm stroke can be rev happy if you do it right. I was going to build a 2.2L rev happy B block, but I didn't really have the cash or the want to go through all the trouble....
