I have been struggling with my VTEC the last few months. I will hit VTEC and it will kick in and then all of a sudden it will stop. It feels like I just let off the gas and hit the brakes when it kicks its self off. Before it started to happen, I had an oil leak and found it. It was the gasket of the VTEC solinoid so I put some right stuff on there to stop the leak. From that point on, I have had that problem. The check light will come on and after that when I get to 5200 rpm the VTEC does not even work. I have a toggle switch that blinks a code to me but I dont have the dam book to read it. I unpluged my ECU and my battery, then it started to work but then the problem still occured. ANY IDEAS ON HOW TO FIX IT. DESPRITE NEED TO FIX BEFOR APRIL 27 FOR AUTOX.
