stupid motor question

So uh... how long do you think you can let a motor sit before you have to rebuild it? I only ask because im gonna have to put my swap on hold till early spring and i hope the motor will last that long.

i would just cover up any holes going into the engine, wrap the whole thing up in plastic so no water or air is going to be getting to it and put a blanket over it so it can sleep warm at night. should be fine.

Make sure all of the fuilds are drained sufficiently, engine and tranny oil, coolant. Make sure any openings are covered (throttle body, exhaust ports). It also helps to keep it in a heated garage.
