STUPID question

    I know this is probably a astupid question, but either way I need an answer.

    on the jdm civics is the ecu in the same place as usdm/cdm or is it on the opposite side as the driver is on the opposite side? thanks.

    if you were comparing the cars directly, yes the ECU would be on the opposite side

    it is still in the passenger foot well... but being RHD vs our LHD, the passenger foot well is on the other side

    right, so the engine harness from a jdm motor will not go right in place of a usdm one? I have a 99 ex coupe thats getting a b16 in a couple of weeks.

    correct the JDM harness is pretty much only good for scavenging wires and plugs from for modifying your stock harness
