It's a Japanese horror film. Very unsettling... but it won a few independent movie awards when it came out.
 
Subtitled from the versions that I've seen. I rented mine at Blockbuster when I saw it- and BB isn't going to rent videos that aren't watchable by your English-only speaking public.

Sheep are valuable. Not only are they a consumable livestock they are also factored for the value of their wool over their lifespan...
