Just purchased a 90 Civic Hatch. It's been a while since I was last in the "game" and thought I would start with suggestions.

Know that I am going from a B16 turbo CR-X, and would like to do a budget build.

Nitrous was already suggested, but I'm not sure that is the best route for me. It's not the power, it's the reliability.

I want to start by picking a motor. Thought about keeping that screaming 1.5......BUT the 4 speed isn't going to cut it for me.

1.6 SI? The ZC out of an Integra? (I want to stay away from buying motor mounts) This may be a stupid question, but would the motor swap from a early gen prelude? Wasn't that a B20, which means mounts???

How about a harness and ECU setup?

This should get me going. I will post once a decision is made, so I can figure out what steps should be taken next.

Thank you! Looking forward to some replies.

    Ray
