i plan on putting a 97 ex motor in my crx and i wanna use everything off the ex. i mean the trans and the harness/ecu. what do i have to do with the trans? does it have a cable clutch?v also what about the ecu? i heard if i wanna use the obd2 one i have to splice 45 or so wires? does that sound right? after that will it work? is there anything else that i need to wory about. oh yeah nd by the way what exact wngine is in the car a d16 what? thanks for the help. first time swapping.
 
Keep the y8, and wire for obd1. Or use one of the cheater methods and use obd0.
 
dosen't the 97 civic ex have a hydraulic tranny??
