So we were successful in installing a b16a SirII motor into a 1992 Civic DX Sedan and we bolted it to a JDM auto tranny. My problem is that the torque convertor is not locking up in 4th gear. I was told it maybe because of the trans computer i have in there.
Would anyone have any experience or know which trans computer will work the best for thios configuration. Or can someone recommend a person or company that could handle something like this.
I spoke to the guy who sold my guy the engine (did not buy direct) and he also said he bolted the auto tranny to a maunal trans b16 block. So supposedly I am running 170hp insted of the 155hp that the b16 atuo tranny block put out.
Kind of obscure I know.
